i finaly got compiz fully working on mate and with my own theme, but i have one question, when using compiz while playing video and 3 tabs of firefox open and compiz enabled my cpu usage is about 15 percent and ram about 350mb-450mb and from time to time the cpu fans start spinning a few seconds than quit, is this normal or is ther something to tweak?

I think, this is normal. Compiz = more resources, more ram, more temperature
