Lock desklets

Postby Sebastiano on Sat Feb 01, 2014 2:09 pm

Hello world, I'm not quite sure if this is the right section, but as you can probably see I am a total newbie here (Yup, just moved from ubuntu!)

So, my question is: is there a way to permanently lock desktlets to their place on the desktop? I'm moving em by mistake too often for my taste!

Thanks

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Well, I can explain to you how it works in KDE, but I don't know which desktop you are using.
Once you have lets us know that there might be somebody who can tell you the answer related to your environment.
No more Windows in our house, except the ones we use to look outside. Also my wife made the jump into Mint. We now use 3 computers with Mint 17.1 KDE-64. Mint because it just works, KDE because it looks great.

Right click on the clear margin of the desklet & choose Lock.

Edit:
Well, realise now that this post has been posted in Feb 2014. By now, the poster might have moved on & this info might not be relevant to him/her any more.
