Probably not high on the list of priorities, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I know I could install the latest version from Sourceforge, but I'd rather get it from the repos so I know it's go the Mint seal of approval.

When will Conky be updated in the repos?

You seem to be under the impression software in the repos is updated and vetted by the mint devs? This is not the case for most things, the vast majority of software is sourced from the ubuntu repos and controlled by the ubuntu devs, but only for the life of the release.

I was under that impression since Conky is listed in the Mint software portal. Ill take the question to the Ubuntu forum.
