Conky in foreground foreground during logon
I'm new to Conky and I've had one piece of weirdness. When I initially log in, Conky seems to read the config file because it looks and displays what I want but for some reason, even though I have background=yes, it appears in the foreground in front of all other applications. If I open the config file with gedit and click save, even without making changes, it goes to the background. I know that this is something easy that I'm missing...

Re: Conky in foreground foreground during logon
I think I figured out my own problem. I think that since I had conky as a startup app, I think that it was starting before the root window was completely created. All I did was create a conky.sh script with a sleep 10 and then call conky and it works correctly every time.
