Very very nice! 8)

Could you maybe post a link to the wallpaper? Would love to have it :)

I'm curious though, how did you get the folder to be transparant?

thank you :)
well the wallpaper as I mentioned comes with the distro. I forget if it's any of the other Mints.
the "folder" is transparent because XFCE allows one to set inactive windows to be transparent.

Linux Mint 13 XFCE. Maybe not too improved but runs very well in a computer of 7 years old.

OK, my first screenshot thread entry ever. As you can see I'm not into customization of the UI that much

This my custom LMDE GNOME Shell install tracking sid. Started with a Debian 6.0.3 Live console install updated to sid repos with the Mint LMDE repos added. Installed debian-system-adjustments and mintsystem from the LMDE repo to Mintify it a bit. MDM is the display manager.

I snatched mint-themes and inxi from the Maya repo. mint-themes looks better on GS 3.4.2 than my patched mint-x-themes from the LMDE repo. I like the newer inxi too, it displays some more info than the original LMDE version.

Emerald City wallpaper from deviantart. Recent Documents and Start Button extensions from extensions.gnome.org.
