It's not "conky", it's "Rainlender2 lite" with "949 Statica Weather" skin, I was  lazy this was easier after the new install.

http://customize.org/rainlendar/skins/77460 You still might have to tweak a little with the extractor and egedit but still easier than conky.

usr/share/rainlendar2/skins

is where to put the skin file

Still testing LMDE had time to add a little tweak to the theme.

My LM 9 Xfce with AWN and screenlets sysmonitor, 1st has apps minimized, 2nd has apps open with my AWN settings.
Yes, I know I have a lot of browsers. They all serve a purpose for different profiles. My preferred browser is Seamonkey by Mozilla.

Nice Lou, for whatever reason that wallpaper makes me think of the original Stargate movie circa 1995.

Honestly, I really don't remember. I think it was from a phase when I was a member of reddit and I surfed through the section on wallpapers. I have it on file though. I can upload to my Picasa account in my signature for you to download.

I search for steampunk themed wallpapers, Firefly aka Serenity wallpapers and landscape wallpapers.

I've enjoyed coming here to see what people do to their desktops and they all deserve credit for the great designs and the time they put into them. Plus it's great information on ideas to help me find my perfect desktop.

I actually reworked my desktop, changed wallpaper, installed lxpanel set it to minimize stripped it down to be an apps launcher bar and moved icons from AWN and my desktop. The only thing is I use to be able to convert png to jpg in my file manager to keep them small enough to upload here. Now I have to find that package again, and install it on this machine. I do have it on my other machine.
