Don't forget
http://www.dropbox.com. You can upload there without installing software on your computer. I was able to do uploading while I was without a computer to call my own.

ompldr is the best, because you don't need an account. Super fast.

The main Imagebam Hosting Service has now released a new 'Quick' Image Hosting site similar to Ompldr.

imgur is what I use when need to post an image on a forum - very fast.
For everything else - screw photobucket, screw imageshack and crap like that; picasa all the way!

Haha it looks super sketchy, but I like it. I think I'll start using this one more. LibreWolf keeps complaining that it's not https, but it's very fast, as you said. I typically use
https://imgbb.com/, which is free but relatively slow.

This forum is set up not to show http images, only https. So if you want to embed your image directly into the post, like you can do with the
[rimg][/rimg]
tags, you will need to use an image host that has https.

Ah, there's that too. Thank you, I'll keep that in mind.

And whats the point of using one of these?

It allows a poster to post large (bigger than 200 KiB) pictures onto a reply on the Forum.
Only small images can be posted directly...
