Current Debian-Squeeze (stable+backports) with Openbox WM
Actually, the newest point release/snapshot of #!Crunchbang Statler-20120207
On my new Thinkpad Ultra-Thin Laptop (Triple-Core i5 Processor, 6Gb RAM)

Just because Debian/stable is old, doesn't mean it has to be out-dated
With the latest 3.2-pae Linux-kernel and Mozilla's Firefox/IceWeasel-11 browser.

A beautiful Wallpaper I borrowed from: http://eldervlacoste.deviantart.com/#/d4oqfun

Debian is well-known for being 'rock-solid-stable' - always!!

the best gnome2 setup i ever managed:
- rock-solid stability (lmde-based but pointed to stable+backports thanks to a very comprehensive howto by LifeInTheGrey)
- compiz and emerald just because i can 8) (intel GM45)
- RGBA and nautilus-elementary thanks to Ikey :wink:
- gnome-panel as a wingpanel;
- conky inspired by an old vrkalak's setup.

Thank you :) I added it on my software manager and it says its intstalled, but when I go to my applications by hitting the hot corner its not showing up. Not even when I type it ;/

I opened terminal and typed 'conky' and it opens up, but its like set in that 1 spot and doesnt let me move or edit/adjust it at all. Can anyone shed any light on that?

I seem to remember hearing Conky has things like that but I'm not sure. I have definitely seeing KDE plasmoids like that but I have no clue what Gnome 3 has.
