I just installed LMDE today, switching from Linux Mint 15, and my monitor is set for some reason to time out in 15 minutes. I looked for a power management setting, but there isn't one, and in the screen saver and lock settings, there isn't an option to turn off lock or screen saver. It only lets me change the away message.
This is a problem. When I finally walked away to make some lunch, the screen timed out. Moving the mouse turned it back on of course, but it locked on me and didn't give me the option to log back in. I had to restart my computer.
Anyone have any solution? I feel like there is some kind of missing library, but I can't find it if that's the case.

Re: LMDE Cinnamon lacking power and screen saver settings
the lockscreen setting is on gnome control center. while the power setting is gone due to a bug in gnome 3.4. you can use gnome tweak tools or gconf setting to set it.

Well that was simple enough. Thanks.
