Adjusting position of notifications

Adjusting position of notifications

Postby devosion on Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:01 pm

I found a quick and easy tutorial that shows you how to do it with mint 13, by editing the stylesheet for the corresponding theme. Problem is that it seems that a key value from the tutorials has been removed in 14: margin-from-top-edge-of-screen. Instead there is only margin-from-right-edge-of-screen. I tried adding the old code to see if it might help overwrite the existing values, but restarting the theme shows that the notification box remains where it was before.

This is the section of css code in question that I am looking to revise, but I can't seem to find the appropriate value that needs to be changed so I can drop the notification box down to the bottom right of my screen. Any help would be appreciated.

border-radius: 5px;
border: 1px solid rgba(41,41,41,1);
background-gradient-direction: vertical;
background-gradient-start: rgba(41,41,41,0.95);
background-gradient-end: rgba(21,21,21,0.95);
box-shadow: 0 0 3px 4px rgba(0,0,0,0.22);

spacing-rows: 10px;
spacing-columns: 10px;
margin-from-right-edge-of-screen: 10px;
