Hi, is it possible to install Cinnamon 1.8 on LMDE? When I try to install from the PPA, I get:
Code: Select all
http://ppa.launchpad.net/gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-stable/ubuntu/dists/debian/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
Greetings, staubi

PPAs don't have a "debian" section. Consider that a feature to protect you from breaking your Debian system with Ubuntu packages in case you decide to ignore the people's warnings and change the line in your sources.list manually
Now a serious answer:

Thanks! I thought that a PPA wouldn't be the cleanest option, but I was curious
Anyway, seems like I rather wait a while....
