Uprade from gnome to mate

Since I upgraded from Gnome to Mate, I was wondering what files I could delete from my home? So far I have deleted .gconf and .gconfd folders, what else do I no longer need?
The OS: Linux Mint Debian 64 Gnome 3
The Hardware: Lenovo A700 all in one. 4.0 GB Memory, Processor x 4 = Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M430 @ 2.27GHz
Video ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5400 Series 512 MB

You could create a new user and look what is put into home only running MATE.
