Panel Transparency/Icon Opacity in 4.8

Panel Transparency/Icon Opacity in 4.8

Postby DapperMe17 on Tue Oct 09, 2012 9:58 pm

Is it possible to make the panel fully transparent, while preserving the integrity of the icons in 4.8? So...enable compositor, adjust transparency, but not the icons.

Thanks

I made a transparent png with gimp and set the panel background to background image and pointed to it.

It seems that XFCE 4.8 supports this by default. Thought it wasn't supported until 4.10.
