KDE network issues
I added KDE to my LMDE install and everything works except the network. I don't have an icon in the tray, knemo doesn't open, and if I plug a network cable in I still don't have a connection. When I boot into Cinnamon wireless and wired connections work without an issue. I have installed Ceni and I am able to get a wired connection working with it but wireless gives me errors about netlink not found and ctrl_iface in use. Is there any way to get the network working properly under KDE?

Re: KDE network issues
Since I still have no icon for plasma-widget-networkmanager even after installing this package, I found wicd in Synaptic Package Manager which helps me set up wireless connections in KDE Plasma Desktop. Here is how:
1. Install kde-full
2. Install wicd
3. Desktop > Main > Add widgets
4. Click on wicd client widget, to install it
5. Reboot
6. After reboot, there's a wicd client icon on the taskbar, ready to be configured.
