Hi,
after a new installation of LinuxMint Debian 32bit I can't keep calm. I have done all the pending updates. Now the monitor display does every 30 seconds a blink. How can I stop that?

Re: Mint Debian 32 bit - 30 sec blinking
Just a thought, but is the refresh rate set to one supported by your monitor?
Re: Mint Debian 32 bit - 30 sec blinking
The refresh rate for the monitor is 75Hz. But is was only possible to fix 60Hz. After the next system update the refresh rate was set automatically to 75Hz. Then the problem was solved.
One day later there is the initial problem. Under preferences displays the refresh rate is fixed at 60Hz. I cannot change it to 75Hz. The problem is not solved. Shall I start the Mint system till I get the right refresh rate?

With an old CRT monitor I do not have this problem, using the identical Mint Debian system.
