It's not a free game. You can pre-order it on their website and get immediate access to the alpha builds: http://www.wolfire.com/overgrowth

I have installed steam on linux mint 14 64-bit. I tried to play Team Fortress 2 and I got this msg

Code: Select all

You need to have a specific Flash Player installed to view video content in Steam. Please follow these directions to get the right version for Steam.

You will need this Flash player even if you already have the latest player for your default web browser.
and so I went to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and selected Flash Player 11.2 for Ubuntu (apt)

and got this error msg

Code: Select all

You don't need to do that, follow these instructions instead to install 32-bit Flash Player for Steam on 64-bit Linux Mint 14: http://www.webupd8.org/2013/01/how-to-g ... -with.html

Is anyone else finding that some games with Linux equivalents, like Eschalon or Braid for example aren't showing up? I'm assuming this is because Linux Steam is still in Beta and not everything been hoiked over yet?

Braid and Eschalon you can get from http://www.desura.com/. They have a Steam-like client and have a ton of games for Linux, both commercial and some free. I've been a happy user since 2011
