Running Star Trek Online

Postby lordtrepid on Sun Feb 02, 2014 4:39 pm

I am fairly new to Linux Mint and I am trying to get Star Trek Online running. I followed the directions found on http://www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/thre ... guide.242/ and it downloaded and patched. However, when I click "Engage" the screen flashes black and then comes up with the wine desktop.

I ran inxi -Fx and came up with these specs for my machine as it currently stands.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Actually that Guide needs to be updated.
Follow this Arc Guide for Neverwinter. Installing the Arc client is identical and I found that you don't need to install IE8 anymore and Arc client runs great.
It even lets you browse games and download/install them.

Neverwinter Arc Client Guide

Also, can you play any other games on your Mint machine?
