Buttons

Post by belovedmonster »

Can the art team produce a series of buttons that users can then proudly display on other websites?

Something like...

//EDIT// - Updated 080422//
This is what I've come up with so far, a variety of styles, tell me which to keep (if any), which to scrap, and which to refine.

IMHO, they're a little loud, too much flashing. The fade in and out one is nice, but a little large.

Flashing = bad. Just static ones would be better to be honest.

Some of the curved ones seem to have really jaggy edges as well. Sorry :(

HeathenX has a good tutorial on making the little micro buttons you see so often.

Here's some more examples of buttons if its any help...

Yup thats the kinda thing I meant, though would be cool if we could have a page of different designs and different sizes like on the pages I linked to.

I never really thought to check Mint Art. Doh!

There's some pretty nice ones on Mint Art that could do with updating. Like this one is lovely but its the old logo...

There's some nice stuff that uses the current logo as well thankfully.

Here are the buttons that I've produced so far:

Let me know if there are any other sizes or styles that you're interested in... as I've actually been having quite a lot of fun making these! :)

I need to do a mass upload of my work to the Mint Art site - I think I'll have the time to do it this weekend.
