Mint LXDE Logo proposal

Hello community,

just created a logo for this wonderful fork of Mint. This is my first attempt of a Mint LXDE custom logo.



Lighter green for a lighter DE, LXDE logo instead of the "m"(int), because the bird of LXDE can also indicate "m"

Any comments, suggestions or just a thumb up are very much welcome!

I think it looks wicked cool, however all branding associated decisions are up to clem and thus far the decision has been to maintain consistency between all releases (excepting KDE) whenever and wherever possible.

LXDE is in my opinion easily the best version of Linux I have used.

I'm dissapointed to see that scant mention is made of it on the current Mint main page or download page at present.

I think LXDE needs some serious promotion and have taken one of the logo suggestions from earlier in this thread and pasted it into one of my web pages to show how easily LXDE and Mint could be promoted by users willing to help out in this way.

Maybe some thought should be given to getting users to actually do something without buying a T shirt or mug.

I have designed a Mint LXDE logo and added it as a link to the bottom of some of my web pages to help spread the word.

I prefer the second version.

I see that LXDE is still not getting a mention on the main Mint entry page - which must confuse any people that link from my web pages.

very nice logo, although I think LXDE mark could be rotated a bit to resemble 'M' more

btw, anyone knows anything about 12 LXDE ? It's not being shown in 'Test' part of Community site so I'm not sure if it is planned to be released.
