Bon jour, Clem!

I still haven't gotten my money back or my stickers. I filed on the 3rd of December, and escalated the claim on the 19th. Stefano's deadline with Paypal on this dispute is today. I'll gladly keep you updated throughout the day things happen :)

Hello Clement,
As Stefano plays dead, Paypal decided to send me money for my order.
Unfortunately for our community, the site is no longer recommended.
If a new supply of stickers was born I'm interested.

Sincerely, toto.

Bonjour Clement,

@tux-sven:

I've seen that as well as with toto, so I'm sure I'll be compensated as well. It appears that Stefano is up the proverbial excrement creek...

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover 4.95 EUR and this amount has been credited to you.
Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.
It's really sad, you know. What could've been a really cool way of donating to Mint ended up becoming this.

Hi everybody,

Based on your feedback, we decided to end our parnership with Unixstickers.

The product was good but the fact that so many of you weren't delivered and the lack of communication meant we couldn't continue to recommend it anymore.

If you haven't already done so, please make a Paypal claim in order to get your money back. On our side we're updating all references to this partnership to reflect the fact that it's now closed.

I'm sorry it got to this. I was personally really excited about this, it's a pity it didn't work out.

I may be wrong but are these guys not based in Italy ? I have lived there for eleven years now and let me tell you this: the Posta Italia is as reliable as any post service in the world - 200 years ago. International post is problematic. I use a postcard service based in The Netherlands to send out my Christmas cards and birthday cards.

It's true, UnixStickers is run by an Italian person (named Stefano or something like that?). About the Italian post, I agree. When I was in Rome I used the Vatican post to send postcards, which arrived on time.

it may be a bit obvious, But:-

do a search on eBay for stickers / linux stickers

there are a few who do Aluminium based, while others are PET
size is typically about 18mmx27mm

-> watch the postage price ! !.
- some are expensive
- all are for just ONE sticker.

@robbrown:-
that link - if I click on anything on that page - it goes to Error 404 - page not found.

this link works better:-

oh I do the Same thing. Followed by a Cleansing Ritual to Purge all the Evil from the system.

Walk around your computer widdershins 3 times, chanting "I Banish you From this System, Windows Begone, Get thee hence Back to where from whence Thou came (redmond :evil: ), Return to thine foul master (Bill Gates :twisted: ) and trouble me no further". Sacrifice a Penguin, Its blood burns like fire to the dark forces, sprinkle it liberally around the system being exorcised .

Do not try this Ritual with a Mac, That will require a Dedicated Priest to perform a much more difficult ritual, as it has the foul mark of its master emblazoned upon its very being. The Last person who tried this little ritual upon a mac was found torn limb from limb, Presumably by enraged Apple Cultists (Apple Genius) :shock: :shock: :shock:
