Is there a simple way to add icons to an existing set ?

I found a set of icons that I like and a few other icons for applications that I use which are not in the set but made in the same style.
I want to add them to the set instead of having an icon theme pointing to 4 or 5 other icon sets.
How do I do this and have them all show ?
