My wish list for Caja

So far Caja is a good file-manager but to be a great file-manager, the developer should give a serious look to Gnome-commander. It is the only one that you can trust for changing owner and privilege. And when you have a lot a symbolic link to manage,you have only 2 choices: Midnight-commander and Gnome-commander. I just save a week of work with is handling of the symbolic link and the capacity to rename with a pattern.

Could you give us some more detil about the context in which you need this functionality so we understand how you are using your system please ?
It would help build a clearer picture of your proposal.
