Consistent Naming system in relation to workspaces

Post by phill1978 »

Hi,

Im running the latest cinnamon which is excellent and improving all the time.

one thing i have noted about cinnamon and its workspace / hot corner is how you can now (and i often do) name each workspace, right?

so, when i right click on my open program window or file browser window bar etc.. i get the option "MOVE TO ANOTHER WORKSPACE . WORKSPACE 1, WORKSPACE2, WORKSPACE3, WORKSPACE4,WORKSPACE5" etc...

Shouldnt the correct and new way to do this be "MOVE TO WORKSPACE: GAME, FILES, MUSIC, VM DESKTOP W7, SYSTEM" < each one of those is an example of how one might label a workspace

just seems that the term workspace is to highlight which workspace you want quickly, but then if you have many workspaces you have to work out which is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc.. it would be much slicker to have the menu display the workspace names and therefore tie in the desktop experience even more.

thats my suggestion :)
