You can fork the source code of Nemo (the fork of Nautilus) to implement this yourself? The source code is on GitHub: https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo. GitHub will let you do a pull request to the Nemo developers to include your changes. That leaves the question if they are interested to include this, Something which I can't answer.

For Dolphin, I imagine you would need to get in contact with the Dolphin developers: http://www.kde.org/applications/system/ ... evelopment.

I have not the skill to do GTK or KDE dev.
And support of Ultracopier into a linux will be interesting (for now, only windows have support).

I have directly query this features to KDE/Gnome, but or I have no reply, or it's: "yes, we will do later", but never append.
Linux Mint have good reactivity, it's why I think Linux Mint is the best luck to do it.

Hi, alpha_one_x86... First at all thank for all your work---

There are two way for add more option externally to Nemo/Nautilus actually:
1- An action:
https://github.com/lestcape/Nemo-UltraCopier
2- An extension:
https://github.com/lestcape/Nemo-UltraCopier-Extension

Also for Nautilus:
https://github.com/lestcape/Nautilus-Ul ... -Extension

Please see the imposibility to check if actually there are files selected or not for the Nemo Action here:
https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues/104 (This is not implemented yet).

Please see the imposibility to update on time the current state when a folder was open before the copy on Nemo using Extentions (the same apply to Nautilus) here:
https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo-extensions/issues/75

A video to show how install the action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTybTkP4zAA

A package for Nemo extension can be found here:
https://launchpad.net/~lestcape/+archiv ... u/cinnamon

Direct download:
https://launchpad.net/~lestcape/+archiv ... u1_all.deb
Again thanks.

Wow!
Thanks to you for your great work!
With the version 1.2 of Ultracopier, the integration under linux will be better than ever!
I have posted on the official forum to have user return. (I use KDE ...)

I see this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2590 ... ny-applica
So, aparently i can try to avoid the problem in Nemo and Nautilus extensions...
If you detect any problem, please you can directly send me an email or create an issue in my github page.

Hello,

I have simplified the Ultracopier/Supercopier compilation, the dependency is only Qt 5.4+.
Where ask to integrate it into mint?

Cheers,

Hi everyone !

The file transfert in nemo is really to laconic. Do you think we can hope for ultracopier on cinnamon one day ? Or at least more option/verbose in the out-of-the-box nemo ?

Found the new home on gitlab

https://gitlab.com/lestcape/Nemo-UltraCopier-Extension
https://gitlab.com/lestcape/Nemo-UltraCopier

It is mentioned hoever that "This action have not support for Cinnamon, as all extensions was forked by Clement and i don't want to work in this conditions.."

With ultracopier now officially in the ubuntu repo starting with 18.04 can someone maybe pick up where there was left off? It's a REALLY bad idea to directly link file transfers to the file manager, manager crashes/freezes and the transfers crash/freeze....
