OTB compiling environment KDE mint 15

Hello
I was very surprised that mint 15 KDE doesn't include the needed headers to compile apps from source code :?

you just need these to get everything working out of the box these should have been installed in the iso :idea:

sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install indent
sudo apt-get install checkinstall



# many distros allow gtk2 and gtk3 to live happy together (not sure if this will cause conflicts with mint 15 but the apps I compiled work correctly)

#for gtk2 apps wont work live cd but works if you install mint first

sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev



besides that everything is working fine
