... alright, I'll bite: What's so good about it? Rhythmbox seems to do all I need to do, so why care about yet another music app? :?:

OK... I tried it, and really like it. Are you happy now? :D

Downloaded the stable version. Man - talk about features, and looks great too!. And nice and fast with searching/filtering etc. Didn't really know what I was doing installing so I had to create my own launcher etc since there is no menu entry (I presume that is right).

tried the one in the repo's first, but had the odd bug in it. The latest one is great. I look forward to more in the future.

As soon as 0.7 comes out I will make a package for it.
Just remind me when it's released.
I will then post it on the forums and give it to clem.

Can't be happier!!!

I wont forget!
Actually, I wish I could use the media keys on my keyboard to play/skip/stop like I can with Rhythmbox.

Hmm, downloaded the songbird thingee, had a look at it and, well, I'm going to delete the thing.
Not to put too fine a point on it, IMHO it's the disgustingly commercially Linux app I've seen in quite a while.

Still, If you don't mind standing in the dock alongside the Windows users also dragged in for inadvertently or otherwise violating some sort of digital rights somewhere sometime.....
