I'm bad with those time thingeys, but on there I couldn't find one for Texas, can we get one? :D

Much easier on Dallas/Texas users.

Democius,

Oh Please... Look at a map of the United States my friend. Texas is about in the middle, left to right, and at the bottom, top to bottom. Now look north, or up, and see what large cities are on that north south line. That is as much of a clue as I am going to give you.

Or look south. More large cities too.

Texan are just jealous that they're only the 2nd largest state. Don't be too hard on them.

I think the absence of Texas from the timezone app thingie is an Ubuntu problem, not a Mint one, and reflects a vast anti-Texas conspiracy founded by Shuttleworth himself.

Man, that is such a polite and helpful answer, thanks Fred! Seriously, Looking at a map it is not in any way clear what is the correct city for Texas. Perhaps if there were lines showing which timezone is which one might have an idea but at face value, Chicago is not directly over Texas at all.

The correct answer is: America/Chicago

Seriously, you went digging some graves and decided to resurrect this one? Locked before this thread becomes a zombie.
