Re: small interface bug in Update Manager, Software Manager
True, Ctrl+Q (quit) and Ctrl+W (close) aren't listed as shortcuts in its file menu. I don't see how this is a bug though; these shortcuts are clearly not in the menu, so how is the program not responding to shortcuts it doesn't say it has a bug? Now if these were listed in its menu, and it didn't react to them, sure.
You can use your system-wide shortcuts for closing applications; Alt+F4.
If you want to make a feature request, for these shortcuts to be added to the menu, you can do so on GitHub. Find all the Linux Mint projects here: https://github.com/linuxmint. Please re-read the forum rules at the top of this page; don't post ideas for application developers here (because this isn't a collaboration space for application development; that's GitHub).

Re: small interface bug in Update Manager, Software Manager
Ah, I missed the Alt-F4; I will still file a feature request, not very ergonomic as shortcut, and it´s also not very coherent because all apps, apart from MINT´s own are listening to Ctrl-q/w, thanks
