Hi Everyone,
It would be nice to have a feature in the Software Manager and or Synaptic Package Manager (SPM) to be able to personally flag programs, or applications, to be installed in the future with maybe a follow-up date; maybe even a multi-purpose personal flag(s) that can show previously installed, do not install (block), Like or dis-like, etc...
Also, there are times that the SPM or Software Manager is corrupted, or not working properly and won't let you install or do anything, yet Linux Mint seems to know this and even makes a suggestion, like type in "sudo dpkg --configure -a", so when this happens, why not have the system automatically create a temporary startup script (program) to run that and maybe "sudo apt-get install -f", or "sudo apt-get install --yes --force-yes -f", and tell the user to restart the computer, or logout and log back in?
Superb work to all of you Linux Mint developers, programmers, application developers, support staff, forum staff, etc ... Thank you !!
