Mint Menu Favourites "Springback"

Post by tawan »

an option only as it would upset some users.

I like to have my menu always show the favourites pane as most of my needed stuff is there. Occasionally i press all programs or type a programs name and access something else. In that case I would like the menu to "spring back" so that next time i clicked on it it would be showing favourites again. (as currently next time i go there it will still be showing All Programs and I have to flick it back to Faves.

So to have menu on Favourites
If then I access a program from all programs, (say i type app and get to Appearance)
After use the menu would "spring back" to favourites, so next time i used it it was showing my favourites.

anyone else like that option?

This has now been addressed by others and there is a fix

fix here

Maybe this option could be added to the MintMenu preffs instead of hidden in gconf-editor ?
