Hi,
I've noticed that with the latest mintInstall (5, I think) that to load all the applications you have to wait at least 1/2 an hour.
Even though it's supposed to be an offline solution to the AppPortal (or whatever it's called) I think that It should download the names at the beginning and then when you select the application with the cursor to load the information and store for the future in a cache.
And for comments I don't think it's neccesary to keep the comments in the cache, esspecialy since mintInstall is useless without Internet.

We are aware of the problem and it will be fixed in a new version - not quite sure how, there are several ways to do it
It's so easy to forget that there are lots of people with low bandwidth.
Depends on your internet speed - takes a couple of minutes for me For Clem I think it would have been somewhat longerat least 1/2 an hour.
