Caps lock notification

I'm not sure if this is part of cinnamon, but I was wondering if its possible to add a caps lock and num locks notifications (similar to the sound volume or brightness notifications).

Although this is could be proven pointless for desktop computers since most keyboard have a light which shows if its on or off; for Laptops, this could be useful, since most laptops don't have lights, to show if caps lock or num locks are on or off.
