I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea if you can compress the LinuxMint7.vdi file - not sure if you can or not to a respectable size. But the vdi is usually the full size of the installed OS - that be one big file!

Yeah, that should work, and provided you choose the dynamically expanding disk option, the file wouldn't have to be ginormous (it'd probably still be quite large though as it's a very binary file) This would be quite useful I guess, but it's easy enough to install guest-additions, which doesn't tax Mint's bandwidth.proxima_centauri wrote:I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea if you can compress the LinuxMint7.vdi file - not sure if you can or not to a respectable size.
