Java Plugin for Firefox

Postby Artthou on Fri Dec 15, 2006 11:17 pm

This would be nice to have pre-configured, as I tried to add it with Synaptic and it failed.

Is this plugin too big to make the cut?

Thanks
Greg

It actually has an old version of java. I tried to install the new version and while it did install I could not get Firefox to recognize it.

To install the the sun-java6-plugin for Firefox I had to remove the java 1.5.09...with the synaptic package manager, and then install the java6 plugin with sudo aptitude install sun-java6-plugin
