That would be an excellent addition to Mint. I went through the manual configuration and although it wasn't to bad, I can see users getting frustrated when they have monitors of different resolutions. I was lucky in that both monitors are using the same res.

Agreed. I just went through 2 hours of worthless frustration/time I will never get back. I've got two monitors, one a 1024x764 and the other 1280x1024.
Love the distro, but I'm not a kid anymore with oodles of time to waste.

Fortunately Linux Mint is geared more towards the home user.

Will save some space on my hdd for a Mint partition when this situation gets better.
