To my eyes for one reason or another all the viable web browsers seem a bit of a mess at present - the over-rounded tabs and lack of toolbar gradients make Firefox for one look like a pen sketch of a computer program. I've seen that some people have done some minor theming for Chrome/Chromium and it would be good if someone knowledgeable did one that suited Mint-X. There is a Shiki one which I'm using at present, and one for Ubuntu's Radiance and Ambiance themes, which are in Google Chrome's web store*. Their colour schemes seem like the work of someone without ample lighting in their home, at best, so the Shiki of Mint 9 it is for me at the moment, though I'm using 11. These themes seem to amount to making the colour around the second tab 'plus' icon the same as the overall gtk theme so that Chrome's own borders can be dispensed with, so maybe it's not that difficult.
Possibly I'm being oversensitive or something but using a computer pretty much hurts my eyes half the time. When all we had was Windows' blue and grey it never crossed my mind...
Thanks for listening.
