Use LightDM and less Gnome applications in LMDE Xfce

Postby burjans on Mon Oct 31, 2011 3:52 pm

I think is better to use LightDM on LMDE Xfce and delete many applicattions of Gnome also.

There was another topic regarding lightdm

But i think you have a different point of view: maybe to change the title of the post into something like "less gnome applications included in Mint Xfce? "

ps: i agree with you, for "xfce -ish"  and practical reasons but the direction is to select mainstream application, more well-known to most of the users
