May be, you can include a mp3 to ogg converter that can handle mass conversion. So that we try and keep up with the open source philosophy.

I myself keep all my music with FLAC, I like retaining a Lossless format, then if I need to convert to OGG or MP3 I use Bashburn

It's a very fast and easy ncurses program that is just damn sweet!

Yeah give them a shot. I believe that to do "simple" jobs it's just much more efficient and easier to use a lean program. Bashburn is very simple to use and since it doesn't use X it's very fast and pretty damn stable.

Now for torrents I use rtorrent, that is another very fast and efficient application that works very well with very low overhead.
