.deb packaging -- How to place in Gnome Menu?

Okay, I have everything proper. I have my DEBIAN/control, data.tar.gz, debian-binary. I know how to get it to install to a directory that you want it to, now the real question is how do I add it to the Gnome menu? That's all I would like to know. Thanks :-)

Haha I should have explained more lol. How do I add a link to the program from the Gnome menu, such as sticking a link under accessories. :mrgreen:

Just make a .desktop file and copy it somewhere like /usr/share/applications
