x32 via x64

I was going to make a mint package for the dropbox client, I only have a x64 machine...is there a way to make the 32bit package with a 64bit machine....note, I can install mint on my work laptop but would not want to jack with it if possible, since it's not actually mine.

I know the devs have discussed 32 on 64 but can't remember the conclusion

you could use vbox to make a x32 vm
