Replacement for DGEN

Postby Red-G on Sun Oct 18, 2009 7:42 am

I've noticed that under mintinstall there is an option to install Dgen as a sega genesis/megadrive emulator, (in the game section of mintinstall) while being a command line app, I don't think it's suitable for new Linux Mint users.

Would it be better to replace it with Gens?

I couldn't add the .deb to this post so here is a link to the file - http://info.sonicretro.org/images/a/a9/Gens-2.15.5-gs-m5-1_i386.deb

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Gens is a much better Sega Genesis emulator, the only problem is it won't build on a 64-Bit system.

But maybe your deb can be added to the community repository.
