Postby merlwiz79 on Sun Jun 20, 2010 8:26 am

Clem has removed the Community Repo since Helena.
clem wrote:Merlwiz: Yes, the project never really took off and with Mint 8 I preferred to give maintainers more margin of manoeuvre with the repositories and to give up with the community section.

Have been looking into getting ConkyWizard into the repo with Linux Mint logos. http://code.google.com/p/conkywizard/
Also will look more into the suggestions here: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=23935&start=20

The ConkyWizard has it's own config preset and images.
It's currently made for Ubuntu.
I want to change it to detect Linux Mint and use the images for it.
Never done anything with qt though.

Thanks.
The network isn't auto detected.
That's the only setting you might need to edit.
It also needs qt4 gui and core.
Also it's in beta and can be buggy.
Deleting the config files fixes it though.

Ok I complied the i386 version and added it to the repo.
If you have a conkywizard config it auto starts conky with it on login
Haven't been tested in Linux Mint KDE, Fluxbox or LXDE but it should work.

Is your conkywizard available for download for Mint 9 KDE?

I've updated my repo and it does not show up.

Did you add my repo?
It should work fine.
I can see my package in the repo and link to it.
