Hello, I've just abandoned Windows and moved to Linux two weeks ago. My first attempt was the popular Ubuntu, which I didn't like very much (only with the Gnome fallback it was usable) but I wanted something less bloated anyway. To make it short, despite the steep learning curve I've been using Mint for a week with great satisfaction.
I'm now experimenting with a Live OS which I could use at work. I need it to work as an installer also if the need arises - and it will, I'm sure people at work would love it. So I'm making a customized (fully updated and localized to Czech) distro based on Mint Xfce 64bit. All worked fine in chroot, but when I start it up it's impossible to connect to the internet. It even recognizes the network, it's possible to connect with a password (both with wireless and eth) but it won't get to the internet. If I boot up from the original iso all works fine. Have you got any idea what could have gone wrong during the process? Maybe some package removed as useless?
Thanks a lot
