It gave me an idea. We could ask some charity if they want we inclue in our distribution some wallpapers that could sensiblise people.

So , now comes the idea for MintDesktop , MintDesktop will manage downloading of wallpapers , changing it after a certain time . User could change this refresh-time and also choose from which organization they would receive wallpapers.

P.S. : Excuse me for my very bad level of English , I try to improve the level of it.

Hey thats really nice idea.But i wish to add something in that, mintdesktop should download themes,icons also.Means totally desktop beauty utilities.I prefer interfacelife.com and digitalblasphemy.com for wallpapers.Mintdesktop ll be gr8.Thanks

hmm id say your quite limited by what charities would work for this, i dont mean this to sound insensitive, but i wouldnt think many people want starving Africans as their desktop background, majestic animals is one of the exceptions though.

I think It is a very good idea. We could have very beautiful themes, backgrounds… while supporting associations, foundations…

Yes , that's a good idea. It would not be revolutionnary for these organisations , but it's a free and influencial method to influence people.

If we do something like that , it would be necessary to have a good coordination and that media relays the information.

But first of all , we must work on the technical side of this project (if we go for it )
