[SOLVED] Update Manager failed refresh of package list

[SOLVED] Hi I hope someone can help me with this as I don't know how to fix it. The Update Manager showed the message below when I tried to use it. It did come up with a list of packages though which i installed. At the moment it has a red cross in the icon and says 'Could not refresh list of packages'.

Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/crebs/ppa/ubun ... ce/Sources 404 Not Found
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/crebs/ppa/ubun ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/crebs/ppa/ubun ... 6/Packages 404 Not Found
Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I've pasted this info in case it's needed.

I've solved this by deselecting the ppa crebs which now seems to be unavailable. Sorry I should have checked similar posts to see how to fix this problem.
