Mint update error[Solved]

Postby queenblurblab on Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:46 am

Mint update is indicating that I have 2 possible updates. I click like I'm supposed to and this error pops up.
Failed to run /usr/lib/linuxmint/mintUpdate/mintUpdate.py 'show' as user root.

Unable to copy the user's Xauthorization file.
I'm running mint 13 will cinnamon.

I fixed that problem and now I have this error instead.
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Fixed the first problem by adding more space to the file system partition.

Problems are all fixed now. In total I enlarged the partition with my file system that I was booting from and ran the code that the error message suggested.
