Using LMDE on a desktop

When updating the latest updates I get the following error

Code: Select all: E: /var/cache/apt/archives/mintdesktop_3.2.2_all.deb: there is no script in the new version of the package - giving up

I click on Details and get

Then a message that update was successful.

However on the Update Manager the mintdesktop_3.2.2_alldeb is still waiting :lol:

Has anyone else experienced this problem, please?

I ran apt-get dist-upgrade and got the same/similar message. Unfortunately I don't have any other info.
