How to add DDG to Firefox 12

Postby Oscar799 on Sat Apr 28, 2012 4:53 am

Firefox 12 doesn't have Duck Duck Go as a default search engine
To add it click the downward arrow symbol on the left of the search window
From the drop down menu choose "Manage Search Engines"
From the pop up window select "Get More Search Engines"
That connects you to here
http://www.linuxmint.com/searchengines.php
Click on the Duck Duck Go symbol to add it

or just go to the ddg Web page and add it there make sure to add the SSL version. If you use tor there is also a version that only works with tor. the code to add it to the awesome bar is there as well.
