Go to the 'settings' from Application Menu and launch 'Disk Utility'
-> It will list all your hard, flash and pen drives.
-> Select the one you want to change label of.
-> Then it will give you an option "Edit Filysystem Label", Go ahead and click it.
And change The label of your Flash drive.
This might slightly differ in your version of Linuxmint.
Well, it's a bit more lengthy process than that of windows, but it's keeps your drives more secure.
