Check out the following Crontab Syntax tutorial, I put this guide together to help people new to the Crontab syntax and as a reference to use when creating my crontjobs :)

I use this in my Crontab...

0 * * * * mplayer /home/dave/.sounds/chime.wav >/dev/null 2>&1
*/10 * * * * /home/dave/bin/ >/dev/null 2>&1
*/10 * * * * /home/dave/bin/ >/dev/null 2>&1 takes a screenshot and puts it in my home folder takes a pic with cam and puts it in my home folder
